Programme Title: Humanitarian and Emergency Response
Our organization is mindful of social distortions occasioned by disasters, insecurity, pandemic, displacements as a result of war, flood, famine, poverty, etc, and has interventions and operational mechanisms that respond to such distortions. These interventions emphasize the need to enhance the resilience of communities and livelihoods in order to address the vulnerabilities in conflicts and disasters.
But we don’t work alone in this regard; we work in partnership with public and private organizations, individuals and donors to deliver these interventions and programmes to the vulnerable in such situations.
Our response under this programme includes:
- Materials and Cash relief: We deliver materials such as food, hygiene, clothing to the vulnerable and victims in disaster situations to meet their basic needs. We also provide assistance in form of cash transfers.

Healthcare:
We undertake medical outreaches to poor and underserved communities to deliver medical supplies in terms of drugs, treatments, materials to treat non-communicable diseases. We work closely with local Primary Healthcare Centres and other health organizations to implement this programme.

Livelihood:
Our livelihood support programme is targeted at vulnerable populations especially women in disaster situations. We do this by providing skills training and access to micro-credit opportunities to victims.

Protection:
We facilitate access to essential care and protection for victims in conflict and disaster situations by working closely with relevant institutions including government, donors, the media, other humanitarian actors to advocate for the rights and safety of vulnerable persons, especially children and women.
